Kerry Katona, 34, was left terrified when her husband George Kay was rushed to hospital with signs of a stroke last week.
Tweeting at the time, the mum-of-five wrote: "Asking you all to say a prayer for @mrgskay been taken to hospital with signs of a stroke xxx [sic]."
Former rugby player George, 35, was also quick to update his followers on his condition, adding: "Hoping it's bells paisley (think that's how you spell it) xxx [sic]."
It was later confirmed that George had not suffered a stroke, but actually had (as he had suggested in his tweet) Bell’s palsy, paralysing his facial nerve.
He returned home on Friday morning.
Now, speaking about her husband’s recent health scare, Kerry has admitted that it’s left her convinced that she’s being terrorised by ghosts.
The former Atomic Kitten star told The Sun: “I know this sounds crazy but I’m convinced it was the ghosts that did this.
“The negative energy has been following me all my life.
“I have a goal and then something bad always happens. Whether it’s drugs, divorce, bankruptcy, my exes’ affairs or George’s health scare.”
George agreed that ghosts had something to do with his health scare, insisting that they were “100 per cent” to blame.
The couple invited paranormal investigators to their home, who managed to contact the ‘spirits’.
According to the paper, these ghostly visitors allegedly claimed that they were following Kerry - and referred directly to George’s face, suggesting they were indeed to blame.
Head ghostbuster Russ Hodgson added: “I’ve been in a lot of houses and not a lot surprises me — but this was something else."
Kerry and George have since begun a ritual to rid their home of ghosts, sprinkling holy water and salt whilst reading aloud from The Bible.
