Yes, really.
We suppose it could happen to anyone; you see a pretty ring, you pop it on your finger, and then… yeah. It won’t budge.
But, while the majority of cases seem to wriggle out with a little warm soapy water (and a prayer!), this was not the case for Maria Fowler.
In fact, the TOWIE star’s ring was wedged on SO tightly that she was forced to head off to A&E with her tail between her legs.
She tweeted frustratedly: “So I have a ring stuck on my finger since Friday.
“Off to A&E today ffs [sic].”
But, as it turns out, the friendly folk at Maria’s A&E couldn’t help her.
Instead, she was sent off to a nearby fire station, where firemen used a special tool to cut the pesky ring from her finger.
Thankfully, they were all pretty nice about it, too!
She explained: “The fire people at the fire station I went to in Derby to get my ring cut off, such nice people.
“Thought they would be annoyed with me.”
Crisis averted! Anyone else bet the local fire brigade quite enjoyed Maria Fowler’s visit?
