Thank the Lord it's been a more relaxing week. After hitting it hard with the DIY, I've decided to give myself a break before I regret pushing myself too much. We've still got a little more to do but thankfully the house is feeling a lot better and is in a liveable state, so my nesting obsession is on the back-burner for a week or so.

As I mentioned last week, it's not been easy getting around in this heat and as for my patience, well it's worn thin to say the very least. Poor Sam has had to deal with 'Hormonal Hilda' quite a bit this week. I'm like a boiling kettle that's about to blow its lid any second!

I'm definitely going through a growth spurt at the minute, I'm getting bigger by the day. Sam and Corey have taken to telling me too, which as you can imagine, doesn't always go down well. Unfortunately for them, I took to the scales the other day and blimey, I wasn't a happy bunny. I've put on 2 stone.

I've been happily wearing my bump with pride, and will continue to celebrate my growing pregnancy figure, but when I came across this pic of myself the other day in a bikini from last November, I really couldn't help wishing for my old figure back there and then.

If not only to be lighter on my feet and feel more active, especially during these summer months.

We took a trip to Bury, my home town, this weekend for my cousin's baby shower. It was great seeing my family. My cousin Claire (whose baby shower it was) is doing so well, she's so organised and has everything sorted for the baby's arrival in a month. I got to meet my cousin Brendan's son, Charlie; he's so gorgeous and Kelly his mum is doing incredibly well. The little gang of cousins and siblings is growing nicely.

Corey and his cousins

I had a great phone chat with Leenie (Myleene Klass) this week. It's not often we get to catch up but when we do it's a long old convo. Obviously there was A LOT of baby talk and she's kindly sending over some of her 'Baby K' range once our little one arrives and we know if it's a miss or mister.

The dentist has been a big part of this week for us. I'd booked in for a check-up as I’m taking full advantage of free dental care whilst being pregnant, but what I didn't expect to happen was to be booking in an emergency appointment too for Corey.

As I was having a relaxing lunch at home, feet up, watching Loose Women, my phone goes; it's Corey's school. 'Corey has broken his tooth with a cricket bat and it's his adult tooth’.

Well, I could have cried - he's got a gorgeous smile and now he looks like a little hooligan!

Thankfully it was a quick visit. With it being a clean break they managed to glue it back together and fingers crossed it will be a permanent fixture. However, my 'check up' turned into quite the visit; not only do I need two fillings, I also need all four wisdom teeth taken out.
