According to Florida Highway Patrol, Enrique Iglesias was caught driving in a closed express line in Florida on 6th May - despite the fact he tried to swap seats with his passenger.

Court documents claim that he "jumped from inside the drivers seat into the rear passenger seat while his male passenger jumped from the front passenger seat onto the drivers seat."

The cops, however, were not fooled by the switcheroo, and the pair were handcuffed.

After officers verified their details, Enrique and his passenger, Abel Tabuyo, were arrested.

The Hero hitmaker was charged with obstruction without violence and driving without a suspended license.

According to NBC6, both Enrique and Abel have pleaded not guilty to all charges; they are due to appear in court on 10th July.

This news comes after the Pitbull collaborator was badly injured at one of his concerts, when he reached up to grab at a flying drone and it sliced into his hand.

Enrique was apparently advised to stop the show, but he decided to keep going, so as not to disappoint his fans.

Afterwards, he was taken in an ambulance to the airport, and flown out to Los Angeles to see a specialist.
