Rixton singer Jake, 22, proposed to Little Mix star Jesy, 24, while actual Ed Sheeran serenaded them with their favourite song.
So we’re expecting big things when they tie the knot. But sadly Jesy has suggested they won’t be getting married anytime soon – because they’re just too busy.
Speaking to MTV, Jesy said: “I want to start planning soon, but I don’t know if I’ll have time…”
That’s the problem when you're both members of two of the busiest bands in pop right now, isn’t it?
Someone who knows exactly what Jesy is going through is her band mate Perrie Edwards, who got engaged to former One Direction singer Zayn Malik in 2013.
Jesy was understandably over-the-moon when her man popped the question, and even compared the moment to Little Mix’s X Factor victory in 2011.
Speaking to Key 103, Jesy said: “To be honest, it was all a bit of a blur. I thought we'd finished sound check and then long and behold, old Ed [Sheeran] walks on.
“I had my back turned to him and the girls were like, 'Jess, Jess' and then I turned around and he sang mine and Jake's song, 'Tenerife Sea'. And as soon as he sang that, I just balled.
We've spoken about [marriage] but I never thought that it was going to happen, not today! It sounds so strange but it felt like the feeling of when we won The X Factor.”
