A new report claims that there is a 1 in 30 chance that you may have had sex with your cousin.

New research from AncestryDNA has suggested that 1 in 300 strangers in the UK is related to you.

Not only are they related, but they are your cousin.

Furthermore, according to previous studies the average person in the UK will have 10 sexual partners in their lifetime, making it a 1 in 30 chance that you have slept with your cousin.

Yikes!

Brad Argent from AncestryDNA said: “It’s incredible to think that many of us will be in daily contact with unknown relatives – with no idea that we share much more than the same sporting team or commute to work.”

This doesn’t mean that you need to check the family background before letting a one-night-stand into your bed, but you might want to grab their surname before getting between the sheets.

More ‘sex’ degrees of separation than six degrees, right?

Shudder
