Since the dramatic revelation earlier this year that Kathy is alive, after she was believed to have died in a car crash, she has been begging Phil Mitchell to allow her to return home.
But the hard man has managed to keep his ex-wife hidden – until now. When Sharon finds messages on his phone from someone saved as ‘K’ – she’s convinced her man is having an affair.
So much so that she and Ian follow Phil to St Pancras station, where he’s planning to meet Kathy.
Luckily for Phil, he realises he’s being followed before Sharon and Ian discover his reason for being at the station, but not before Kathy spots her son.
She’s understandably overcome with emotion and breaks down. Will she be able to resist the temptation to make her presence known?
The last time Kathy saw Phil she begged him to help her, and asked for fake documents to allow her husband to escape.
Kathy admitted she’s willing to go to prison in order to eventually return to Albert Square and be reunited with Ian and her other son Ben.
