Ricky, 24, and 22-year-old Marnie met in January this year – and they're keen to start a family following his proposal.
Speaking to OK! Magazine, former TOWIE star Ricky said: "I've known since the first day I met Marnie that she was the woman I was going to marry.
"When you know someone is right for you, what's the point of waiting?"
His comments may come as a blow to his ex-girlfriend and former The Only Way Is Essex co-star Jessica Wright.
Ricky and Jess, 29, were together for two-and-a-half years, during which she struggled with his commitment issues. They finally split for good last year after Jess discovered he'd been messaging other women behind her back.
But it seems Ricky couldn't be more serious about Geordie Shore star Marnie: he's even thinking about having children.
He continued: "I'm already broody, I'm hoping we'll start trying on honeymoon."
While some couples may wait a while to get married after becoming engaged, it looks like it's full steam ahead for Ricky and Marnie.
When asked about her bridesmaids, Marnie said: "Ricky has four sisters so I'll definitely be asking them, and I'll have my Geordie Shore housemates Chloe Ferry, Holly Hagan and Charlotte Crosby too."
Fans will get to see the moment Ricky got down on one knee when it airs on Geordie Shore later this year.
Discussing the big moment, which happened in Greece, Marnie said: "He led me over to the edge of a cliff and told me to look down. He's written out 'Marry me?' on the beach in bamboo flame torches and when I turned back around he was down on one knee."
Sounds perfect, doesn't it?
