According to 37-year-old Kristina's Strictly Come Dancing co-star Robin Windsor, she and rugby hunk Ben, 36, are in it for the long run.

Robin, 35, told The Sun: "Sometimes people just fall in love and that's where she's at with it. I think she'll be happy with him.

"I don't know Ben well enough but I do trust her judgement. You can never predict the future and what will be will be. I think this is meant to be."

Professional dancer Robin added: "These things happen. People do split up and new relationships come together."

Robin's comments come after Kristina was branded a home wrecker – following reports her relationship with Ben prompted his wife Abby, 37, to file for divorce after 11 years of married.

Russian beauty Kristina, who partnered with Ben on the 2013 series of the BBC One competition, last week defended her relationship with him.

Kristina has blasted 'home wrecker' reports, claiming Abby and Ben were already over when she started seeing him

She told the Mirror: "He left his wife a year ago. Recently we started dating but we weren't allowed to see each other as two single people.

"I don't know why I'm always attacked. I am a hard-working, self-made person. I support five people in my family in Russia."

Abby, who shares seven-year-old twins Harriette and Isabelle with Ben, recently blasted Kristina on Twitter.

She posted a lengthy quote about karma, adding: "@KRihanoff there you go my lovely… [sic]."
