Failed Science, a hugely popular Twitter account, have outdone themselves with their latest animation.

Titled ‘How To Build A Human’, the artwork takes us through all the forty steps of development.

And it’s pretty incredible to see how that tiny zygote (the scientific name for a fertilised egg which carries genes from two parents) transforms over time.

It even pinpoints the moment when your unborn baby develops eyelids, fingers and toes!
