David, 40, and 41-year-old Victoria have been doing everything they can to dismiss rumours they’re heading for divorce after 16-years of marriage, but their professional diaries will be keeping them apart from now until November.
Most recently retired footballer David supported his wife as she celebrated the first anniversary of her fashion store on London’s Dover Street.
But the Daily Star has reported that work commitments will see them heading to separate events over the next two months.
This week David – who shares four children with former Spice Girl Victoria – attended the Pride of Britain Awards alone, before heading to Dubai for a store opening.
However they are set to be reunited on 22 November at the London Evening Standard Fashion Awards.
A source told the newspaper: “For a couple who have built their entire lives around showing such a strong, united front it does seem strange that their diaries seem to be sending them in opposite directions.”
Closer recently reported how Victoria and David are struggling with the amount of time they are spending apart.
“Victoria was devastated by the reports [their marriage is in trouble],” an insider said. “Their three boys are old enough to read the stories and she hated the idea of them worrying about her and David.
“She’s admitted to pals things have been tough as they’ve spending so much time apart but is determined to make things work. She loves David and the family they’ve raised together and won’t let it break.”
