During the pop star’s two hour stint on the Home Shopping Network, Jessica was said she appear ‘drunk,’ ‘stoned’ and ‘out of it’ by viewers.
The mum of two appeared to slur her words at some points, and seemed confused and giggly throughout her performance.
Joining host Colleen Lopez on Thursday, Simpson was also criticised for telling random stories about her family - including how her sister, Ashlee Simpson, shares jeans with her husband.
One Twitter user wrote: ‘Jessica Simpson seems wasted, this is so entertaining.’
But despite Jessica’s supposed erratic behaviour, it was certainly good publicity for the home shopping show, with the host later writing it was a ‘sell out.’
Another fan commented:’ I am 99% certain that Jessica was 100% inebriated throughout that segment. Wowza.’
Simpson was pictured on her Instagram account last week wearing a jacket with what appears to be a maijuana leaf emblazoned on it.
