Then last week the brunette was pictured partying without her engagement ring.
But it came as a bit of a shock when the Geordie Shore star appeared to announce their separation on Twitter.
Taking to the social network on Sunday, the 22-year-old tweeted:
"I couldn't of ever imagined what this day would bring. My heart is broken" (sic).
However she later retweeted Chloe Goodman, explaining the tweet was about her puppy and not Ricky.
Yet all doesn't seem well in camp Rarnie (see what we did there?), with the duo seemingly unfollowing each other on the social networking site.
And tellingly Marnie failed to mention Ricky's 25th birthday yesterday.
The reality star is currently said to be in Thailand, where he is filming a 'secret new project'.
A split would be especially tragic, as both parties left TOWIE and Geordie Shore respectively, citing their relationship as a reason.
Just two weeks ago Marnie explained her exit on Twitter, writing:
"I couldn't continue in the show in a relationship.
"It was hard to say goodbye but if I hadn't I would've lost Ricky which I wouldn't of (sic) let happen, staying in Geordie Shore wasn't possible anymore."
Oh no Marnie! Now you've lost both..
