A court has heard how a man ‘hired out’ his wife to other men for money.
The 54-year-old man – who cannot be named for legal reasons – forced his wife to have sex with 2,742 men in around four years.
It’s reported the men would come to their home and the man, along with the couple’s young child, would sit outside in the car.
At the hearing in Paris, a prosecutor told the court that the man “exercised a psychological power over his wife, preventing her from stopping submitting herself to the sexual needs of customers who were sometimes very tough.”
The woman, 46, who has also not been named, was arrested alongside her husband but was not charged. They have been married for ten years.
The man faces a criminal trial but is on bail.
