This year’s I’m A Celebrity - Get Me Out Of Here! contestants are certainly a philanthropic bunch, aren’t they?

Earlier this week, it was revealed that footballer Kieron Dyer would be donating his entire show fee to a stillbirth charity.

And now Duncan Bannatyne - who shot to fame on Dragons’ Den - has revealed that he will be following Kieron’s good example.

Taking to Twitter, his team announced: “Duncan’s TV journey to jungle will promote @opsmileUK for life changing operations for 125 children on a trip to Africa next year #imaceleb”

The people managing his Twitter account added: “We can’t say what his fee is but it will fund special trip to Africa for life changing operations via @opsmileuk for 125 children.”

The charity, of which Duncan is an ambassador, provides free surgery to children and young people who have cleft palates and other facial deformities.

And, unsurprisingly, Operation Smile are over the moon to hear of the TV star’s generosity.

They said: “WOW we're over the moon! Our Amazing Ambassador @DuncanBannatyne is donating his #ImACeleb fee to @OpSmileUK #legend @imacelebrity”

What an amazing and selfless gesture.

It looks as if Duncan and Kieron’s fellow I’m A Celeb 2015 contestants have got a BIG act to follow - and they haven’t even entered the jungle yet!
