X Factor’s series 6 finalist Lucie Jones is engaged to boyfriend Ethan Boroian.

The songstress, who competed alongside Stacey Solomon in 2009, revealed the happy news on Instagram yesterday.

Taking to the site, the 24-year-old shared a picture with her fiancé, flash in her ring, with the caption: "Absolutely over the moon. I DO!!!!! #cloud9”.

Lucie, who has appeared in musicals and Midsomer Murders since X Factor, then shared a close-up picture of her ring, writing:

"Can't believe it.... I DO!!! Me and @ethanboroian could not be more excited or happier!! GETTING MARRIED ARGHHHHHHHH!!! “.

Ethan couldn’t hide his excitement either, sharing a snap captioned: "She said "yes"! I present to you my beautiful fiancé @luciejones1 soon to be Mrs. Boroian. Unreal.”.
