Anton and judge Nick, 30, clashed on Saturday night’s show, when his performance was labelled ‘fake’ by the Radio 1 DJ.
Now Essex boy Che has blasted Anton, who has continued to talk negatively about Nick since his elimination.
Speaking to OK! Online, Che said: “It’s bitter innit? It’s just bitter, that’s all it is. I don’t think Anton likes what Nick said about him, about his performance being an act, but I don’t think Nick meant it was fake. I think Nick meant it was a bit theatrical, and that kind of act.
“But, you know, Anton’s come out of the show and he’s just slagged Nick off, so whatever, that’s the way it goes. Nick’s been in the business long enough now to ignore it and move on.”
After losing out to Che in Sunday night’s sing-off, Anton has gone on to brand Nick as a ‘DJ with famous friends’.
He told Yahoo Celebrity: “[Nick’s comments were] actually very challenging for me, my first thought was, ‘how dare you?’.
“I’m not going to allow anyone to do that, especially someone who… The other judges have experience with performing or at least nurturing and bringing us worldwide pop stars, they don’t just play music on the radio and have famous friends.”
Oh dear… someone should probably remind Anton he’s a long way off earning his divaship.
