I’m a Celebrity… line up revealed!

I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here is due to hit our screens once again this Sunday. The show was hijacked by Miss Katie Price last year, but who have ITV bosses lined up to face creepy crawlies, crocodiles and kangaroo testicles this year?

According to The Sun there is no less than 12 contestants this year and they look like a much stellar bunch than the last lot. We have the low-down on everyone you can expect to see suffer in the name of entertainment in this years show.

Gillian McKeith
Fifty-one-year-old Gillian is a TV nutritionist famous for revamping the diets of her overweight victims after first inspecting their faeces.  We have a feeling she might be the only one who likes the rice and chickpea diet, wonder how she’ll feel about the kangaroo testicles and beetle eating though?                                       

Lembit Opik
He was once a Liberal Democrat MP, but if you don’t remember him for that, you’ll probably know him for dating a cheeky girl. If he follows in the footsteps of George Galloway – another MP who had a stint on a celebrity reality show – forty-five-year-old Opik could prove to be the one we’re all talking about.

Stacey Solomon
Providing a bit of eye candy on the show, twenty-one-year-old Stacey is famous for losing last years X Factor. We reckon people will either find her Essex accent and non-stop babbling endearing or down-right irritating!

Dom Jolly
Funny man Jolly is most famous for Trigger Happy TV, which featured him talking loudly in inappropriate places on an oversized phone. We expect some intelligent humour from Jolly and a huge likeability factor.

Sheryl Gascoigne
One of the original footballers wives, the term WAG wasn’t invented back then, she is famous for marrying fallen football star Gazza. Last year she released a tell-all book about alcoholic Gazza, wonder if there will there be more revelations in the jungle? 

Aggro Santos
The one you’re least likely to know! Guesses anyone? Twenty-two-year-old Santos is actually famous for having a top ten hit with former Pussycat Doll Kimberly Wyatt. Career leg up anyone?

Allison Hammond
An original on the reality TV circuit – she appeared in Big Brother in 2002 - Alison is now well-known as a TV presenter on ITV’s This Morning. She’s bubbly and used to interviewing big stars like Jonny Depp, so she should find this lot a doddle.

Linford Christie
Ex-sprinter and coach Christie, we suspect, will be have no trouble combating physical challenges compared to other fellow celebrities. We reckon it could turn out really funny though if he has a secret fear of creepy crawlies!

Britt Ekland
Sixty- eight-year-old Brit is famous for being a bond girl and bearing her boobs, so will she be getting them out on this year's show? She was also married to Peter Sellers, so we’re hoping to hear some interesting stories about the eccentric actor.

Shaun Ryder
Happy Mondays front man Ryder is just as famous for his marathon crack cocaine binges and channel 4 ban as he is for his music. We reckon his Ozzy Osbourne style ramblings could provide much entertainment while winding up fellow contestants.

Gail Porter
Former model and now TV presenter Gail Porter is famous for having her naked image projected on the House of Commons and from recently suffering from Alopecia. We reckon she will provide a grounding down to earth influence.

Finally, Nigel Havers
Actor and director Havers is known for his smooth posh drone, charming Deirdre in Coronation Street and appearing in Little Britain. Will he smooth over the ladies in the jungle with his quintessential English gentlemen tactics?
