Jamie Lynn tells mum with a note

Jamie Lynn Spears told her mum she was pregnant by giving her a handwritten note!
The 16-year-old broke the news to her mum Lynne, with boyfriend Casey Aldridge in tow, but she couldn't do it face-to-face so instead she wrote it in a note.
Lynne told an American magazine: "She came to me and said: 'Mom I have to tell you something. Here it's in a note.' I was taken aback. I read the note, which of course said she was pregnant, and ran into the living room. I said: 'I don't believe this. This is not funny!' I looked at Casey, and he was staring straight ahead. She said: 'Yes Momma, it's true.'"
But despite being surprised with the shock announcement Lynne, who is already a grandparent to Britney's two children, will support her daughter all the way.
She said: "I want her to ask me to help as much as she wants me to because I will be there for her. I want to be a big part, if she wants me to be."
And with Jamie Lynn making no plans to marry Casey or even move in with him, it looks like Lynne will be needed more than ever.
The Nickolodeon star said: "My mom will be helping me so much! I have to take responsibility and do a lot of it myself, but she's going to have to teach me so much. I don't live with Casey yet. For now that's the best thing to do we need to focus on the baby right now."
Jamie Lynne met Casey at church, and the pair have been dating for two-and-a-half years.
