Reason for collapse

US reports are claiming that the reason for Gwyneth Paltrow’s collapse on Monday was because she was starving herself.

Gwyn, 35, was rushed to a New York hospital on Monday with a mystery “personal” illness.

And it’s now believed the Hollywood actress – who follows a macrobiotic diet  – was on a five-day live food fast.

Organic Avenue in New York sell the L.O.V.E fast, which does allow some food, but only from their range.

An employee from Organic Avenue said: “She’s eating salads, there’s juices. There’s actually quite a bit of food there. It’s all just raw and organic.”

Customers pay $350 for the fast, and receive their daily food and drinks from the organic company fresh.
