Man United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is not going to be a happy bunny after reading reports that his god-daughter is expecting junkie rocker Pete Doherty’s baby!

And if that wasn’t bad enough Laura McLaughlin, 20, also revealed that she lost her virginity to Kate Moss' bad boy ex.

Sir Alex – who is notorious for being strict with his players and in December fined some of his top stars £1m for out- of-control partying – is not afraid of speaking his mind.

But it’s not her god-father whose reaction has upset Lola – as she is known to friends and family – but in fact Pete’s.

She said: "His apathy has been traumatic for me. I wanted the baby to be as big a deal to him as it was to me. But it wasn't. One minute he is excited and telling me: ‘How good-looking is our baby going to be?' The next minute he's saying: ‘You deal with it'."

The pair met through mutual friends a year ago and hooked up in October at the swish London Berkeley Hotel.

But although the straight A-student thought their meeting would turn into something more serious, she explains that they haven’t seen each other since:

"He told me he liked me because I was intelligent and straightforward as well as sweet and innocent. He said I was the opposite of Kate Moss. He led me to believe when we parted on the Sunday night, things weren't going to end there. But they did."

This might have something to do with the fact Pete seems to know nothing about the baby – or at least that’s what his spokesperson is claiming: "Pete says he doesn't know who this girl is."
