'I blew £8k to look like Jordan’

Gabriele Randone, 22, put her tragic past behind her to look like 32FF Jordan – but she’s been left feeling deflated.

As a teenager, Gabriele Randone was constantly mistaken for big-busted glamour model Jordan – until people looked down and saw her 32B boobs.

So when she hatched a plan years later to earn a living as a Jordan lookalike, Gabriele decided to complete her uncannily similar look by having breast implants to match the glamour model’s impressive bust.

But just a month after Gabriele had surgery to create a whopping 32FF bust to look like the star, Jordan had her trademark assets reduced from 32FF to 32D.

“I couldn’t believe it when, just weeks after my bandages came off, bloody Jordan went and had hers reduced,” says Gabriele, who’s still determined to make a career out of looking like her. “It’s sod’s law – but I love my new boobs and I’m keeping them.”

Painful past

Although Gabriele is good-humoured about the way things have turned out, she says that before the op she suffered years of sadness and insecurity over her body image, following a traumatic sex attack she suffered seven years ago.

Aged 15, she was raped by a taxi driver after a night out with friends. It left Gabriele in pieces and led to her self-harming.

“Every time I closed my eyes, I’d relive what had happened to me,” she remembers. “I had to find a release for all the emotion that was building up inside me. It started with little cuts on the top of my arms where nobody would see them, but they started to get bigger. When I cut myself the pain took over and, for a moment, I’d forget about what that man had done.”

Worrying she was to blame for attracting her attacker, Gabriele began wearing baggy clothes to cover her curves and even coloured her blonde hair jet black. “I didn’t want to be the same girl who was raped,” explains Gabriele. “It took a lot of time to realise it wasn’t my fault.”

Rebuilding confidence

When she was 19, Gabriele met fiancé Nick Burnett, now 29, who helped restore her faith in men. “I told Nick about everything, from the rape to my self-harming, and he supported me. Slowly I started to grow out of it and take control of my life.”

Nick and Gabriele got engaged in July 2006 and, with Nick’s support, Gabriele began to feel more confident about her looks.

Becoming Jordan

After being repeatedly mistaken for Katie Price, she decided to have a boob job – boosting her bust from a 32B to a D cup in May 2005. It cost £4,000 and she took out a bank loan to pay for it. But before she could find work following the surgery, Gabriele fell pregnant with her son Sam, now eight months.

After childbirth, she felt her new boobs had become saggy and decided to have another op in November last year to increase them to a massive 32FF – the same size as Jordan’s were at the time. It cost a further £4,000, paid for with another loan.

“My nose was always smaller than Jordan’s, so we aren’t too different now,” says Gabriele. “And luckily I’m naturally slim – I don’t diet or exercise. I’m 5ft 5 and size 6, just like her.”

“Some people have been bitchy about me trying to be someone I’m not. But I’m not one of those freaks who actually thinks they’re a celebrity. I know I’m a nobody. But what’s wrong with sometimes getting paid to feel like a somebody?”
