Amy Winehouse rushed to hospital

Amy Winehouse has been rushed to hospital after trying to beat her addiction to drugs.
 
The 24-year-old singer has been put on a drip after suffering severe dehydration and withdrawal symptoms while in rehab.
 
Amy was smuggled into The Harley Street clinic in London under a false name, after undergoing rehab in the Capio Nightingale hospital around the corner.
 
A source close to the clinic said: “Amy was looking very pale and thin. She looked ropey and exhausted.”
 
Before Amy was admitted to the hospital, her dad told The Sun that she was suffering “horrific” withdrawal symptoms but was getting better. He said: “Amy is OK. She is making progress but will be in rehab for a long time.”
 
But doctors fear that Amy’s condition may have taken a turn for the worse. Doctor Carol Cooper said: “Going on a drip is a sign that things have got pretty bad. Crack is notoriously difficult to get off.”
