Jordan insists she's no druggie

Monday 18 February 2008

Glamour girl Jordan has hit back at newspaper claims made yesterday that she
was a druggie and tried to kill herself  despite the quotes coming directly
from her new book!

The book, titled Pushed To The Limit, gives an insight into the lows Katie
Price experienced as she fought postnatal depression following the birth of
second son Junior in 2005.

She explains how one evening, when she was at her lowest, she contacted an old
friend from her clubbing days for a pick-me-up. She explains: "I'm so ashamed.
After I'd taken it I thought: 'This feels good' and I took some more. But my
heart seemed to be racing fast, I felt hot and I began to panic.

"I thought: 'Oh my God, had I overdosed? Was I going to die?'"

But last night the mum-of-three explained that the drug mentioned wasn¹t
illegal, saying: "I took a prescription drug that a friend gave me. But I took
enough of it to react with me."

The 29-year-old also denies that she tried to kill herself, even though in the
book she says: "I seriously thought: 'Shall I end it all now? Drive into this
wall and kill myself?'"

But last night the model said this wasn't the case, explaining: "I never
wanted to commit suicide. I have children and I love them and have
responsibility to them. It was definitely scary and I never want to go back
there."

Anyone else confused?!

RE: Jordan insists she's no druggie

I think people should leave katie alone. I have had post-natel depression and now suffer with manic depression and anyone who has had post-natel depression or suffer's from depression now will know that it isn't easy, especially when you have children, which I do. I have had depression for 12 year's and know exactly what she went through. I just think people should leave her alone to get on with her life with her husband and children, people don't know what goes on behind closed door's they don't know what she's like with her husband or her children. It must be harder for katie has she is in the spotlight and it will be much harder for her has she has had to put up with the media and try and deal with her depression.

RE: Jordan insists she's no druggie

SO IF SHE DOESN'T WANT TO BE IN THE SPOTLIGHT FOR EVERYONE TO SEE WHY DOES SHE DO KATIE AND PETER, STATESIDE AND EVERY OTHER T.V OPPORTUNITY, SHE 'S SO SPOILT AND TREAT'S PEOPLE SO BAD IT'S HER WAY OR IT'S NO WAY.
