Rihanna live!

Friday night was a fun one thanks to the lovely team over at Virgin Atlantic. They invited me, and my fabulous friends Chloe and Sam, to watch Rihanna at the O2 in the luxury of a private box.
We were completely over excited to be in the luxury of a box for the gig – hot dogs, white wine, posh cheeses and fresh fruit on tap…..but enough about the food, over to the lady herself.
I was slightly bemused with all the newspaper write-ups over the weekend saying how brilliant the concert was. Yes, she can sing and it was fun. But the concert was tedious unless you knew every song, her microphone kept cutting out during the dance hit SOS and to be totally honest the set was really cheap. All she had was a load of ribbon with coloured lights and a video screen.
Overall, she’s not at the top of her game as a live artist! And my opinion is there are only so many skimpy bondage outfits you can wear until people want to see the real talent!

Hi totally agree. My friend has been to see Rhianna before and apparently she is preety boring when it comes to live shows. I understand that she can't dance around and sing at the same time but it would be nice to see that she was making an effort. I have watched a few of her live shows on TV and everytime she lets her backing singers to all the work. Just because you have had good songs and albums doesnt mean you dont have to sing in live shows. People pay money to see YOU sing NOT your backing singers. Don't get me wrong i LOVE Rhianna but I think us people are just wasting our money if she aint going to sing live.
BRING BACK SINGERS THAT ACTUALLY SING LIVE!!!!!!
