Suzanne reveals her debt trauma

Suzanne Shaw has revealed how she used to crawl around on the floor of her flat to hide from bailiffs when she was £200,000 in debt.
The Dancing On Ice winner told Hello! Magazine that after love rat Darren Day abandoned her and their son Corey she had to go without food so that the baby could eat. Suzanne even had to beg her mother to buy groceries online for her, as she lives in New Zealand.
Suzanne said: “I have never discussed it before. I was too embarrassed and proud. It was bad enough always being described as the woman dumped by Darren Day and left holding the baby, never mind the desperate straits I was in.”
Suzanne was advised repeatedly to declare herself bankrupt but she refused and paid back every penny eventually.
