Eva Longoria

Eva's latest marriage crisis

Monday 14 April 2008

The honeymoon seems to be over for Eva Longoria and Tony Parker as they struggle to make their 10-month marriage work.

“Eva and Tony have hardly seen each other since she came back to LA in February. They’re arguing on the phone nearly every day,” said a pal of the actress.

A source on C4 hit show Desperate Housewives said Eva, 32, has been seen crying on set in LA. She’s only seen basketball star Tony, 25, a few times since early January, and he didn’t show up for her A-list birthday bash in LA on 13 March.

“Tony promised to make it up to her by coming to LA to see her. But she’s still waiting – and she’s fuming,” said the friend.

“Last week, they had a big bust-up. When she called Tony, he was in a bar. Eva ended up shouting that if partying with his friends is more important than her, they’re through. She hung up and burst into tears,” said the on-set source.

It’s not the first sign of trouble for the couple. Five months into their marriage, French model Alexandra Paressant claimed she’d had an affair with Tony, which he denied.

“Eva was devastated, but she stood by Tony when he told her it wasn’t true,” said the source. “Now, though, she feels that he’s not there for her.

“Eva’s worried that they’re at different stages in life. She’s in her 30s, wants babies and a happy-ever-after, but she thinks Tony’s more into partying.”

Eva’s been getting her own back by hitting LA nightspots with pals, including fellow Desperate Housewife Marcia Cross, Jennifer Aniston, Sheryl Crow and Courteney Cox. New best friend Victoria Beckham has also given her a shoulder to cry on.
