Cheryl to renew wedding vows?

We told you the other day that Ashley Cole had been spotted out without his wedding ring on, and now it seems that he's reached the end of his tether. Sources say he has made one last desperate attempt to get his relationship back on track with Cheryl Cole, asking her to re-marry him.

Apparently Ashley wants Cheryl to agree to renewing their vows together. The footballer thinks this will show his committment to the Girls Aloud singer after cheating on her in December allegedly (God, do we still have to keep saying 'allegedly'?)

Friends have revealed that Cheryl was stunned when Ashley 'proposed' again and she needs some time to think. One friend said: "She won't be able to turn down Ashley's request. Cheryl is still besotted with him- but these claims about what he's done have humiliated her."

Oh go on Cheryl, just marry him again. Then we can go through all this a second time when he ruins that marriage too!
