I would be lying if I said I was OK with my 1lb gain. I was absolutly gutted to say the least. I'm pretty sure it's all my fat turning to muscle, but to see the scales go up was still a big shock. I ran back upstairs to do my measurements and was amazed to see i had lost 2" off my waist and 3" off my hips in the last 4 weeks alone! So the disapointment was short lived as there was the proof I needed. I walked around with a smile on my face for the rest of the day.I'm staring to feel a lot more toned, feel like my bum has gone flat, lol, but I'm definitely liking the new curves! I have carried on with the exercise DVD, I went swimming on Tuesday night again, and did 66 lengh's, in 55 mins this week, really pushing myself now.
I'm hoping to see a loss on the scales this week. I know I shouldn't worry to much if I don't but it's disapointing if the scales don't go down. I have a Christening to go to at the weekend and I'm hoping to see people that I haven't seen for a while to see if they can notice that I've lost weight. I need to stay strong and not pick at too much food, try and go for healthy options, don't want to go and spoil all my hard work. I also have May Day Monday to get over, walking past the candy stall will prove a challenge! Keep your fingers crossed that i keep strong.

After the last couple of over indulgent weekends I'm pleased to say I've
been extra good this week. I've stuck to my plan ridgedly and have done four
one-hour exercise classes over the week. I even went swimming this week
(something I've not done in a long time). At first I was dreading the
thought of getting back in to a swimming costume but once I was in the
water I actually enjoyed myself. I'm planning on going swimming at least
once a week from now on.
I'm happy with my loss this week, that takes me to 11 lb loss so far since
starting in January (quite slow compared to some but i'm happy its still
going). I would like to see some change in my measurements as I've not had
any change in nearly 2 months! But I have lost a total of 2 inches from
both my chest and waist and 3 inches from my hips.. lets hope i see some
more changes soon :-)

I can finally put on a pair of work trousers that I couldn’t even do the zip up on when I first started this diet and with the 3lb loss this week I have now lost a total of 13lb, just 1 more pound until I reach that all elusive stone.
This is definitely the first week since I started the diet where I really feel like I’ve lost weight and not just because I can finally fit into a pair of trousers I’ve not worn in about six months but also because people have started to comment, which I have to tell you is a fantastic feeling!
I’ve not changed anything this week, I’m still doing my yoga and I’m still sticking strictly to the diet, though next week at work is looking to be a busy and stressful week and my will power is always low when I’m stressful.
