Cheryl embarasses Ashley on stage

Oh dear, we didn’t envy Ashley Cole last Friday as he bravely ventured out
to see wife Cheryl play at the O2 Arena on the London leg of Girls Aloud’s
Tangled Up Tour.
 
Apart from the fact that facing 20,000 Girls Aloud fans must be quite
daunting after you publicly humiliated one of the most popular members of
Britain’s biggest girl group, it was also the first time since ‘hairdresser
gate’ that Trashley and Chezza were out together (well, sort of) in public.
 
Closer spent the whole concert waiting on tenterhooks to see whether
Ashley’s presence and/or the whole cheating drama would be acknowledged in
any kind of way, and feisty old Cheryl didn’t let us down.
 
It’s fair to say she more than got her own back when, after performing
Control Of The Knife with the other girls, Cheryl was left centre stage as
the song turned into Kelis’ hit Trick Me (anybody wants to guess what
happens next?).
 
With her thunderous face superimposed on two giant screens, Cheryl belted out
the poignant lyrics “You might trick me once, I won’t let you trick me
twice” whilst pointing straight into the crowd – or at a certain adulterous
husband.

Closer was scared just watching it, so anyone who thought Ms Tweedy was a
door mat  for staying with love rat Ashley better reconsider! As far as public put downs go, this was pure genius!

The girls also put an end to those consistent rumours that they are on the verge of splitting up by announcing that they have started to work on their sixth album. Yay!
