Is Charlotte pregnant again?

Charlotte Church has fuelled speculation that she may be expecting her second child by ditching the booze and easing up on her exercise regime.

When she stepped out last week at a charity event in Cardiff to promote breastfeeding, the star looked curvy and glowing – and onlookers noticed her tugging self-consciously at her top.

“She kept on trying to pull her T-shirt down and seemed really self-conscious about her tummy,” said one.

And at a barbeque with boyfriend Gavin Henson’s family last weekend, Charlotte, 22, didn’t touch a drop of alcohol. 

A close pal of the Welsh singer said: “Charlotte hosted a big family event at her house. But while everyone else enjoyed loads of drinks in the sun, she stuck to soft drinks all day.

“Usually Charl loves to be the centre of attention, but instead of joining in the fun, she spent most of the day chatting to Gav’s mum Audrey.

“Gavin and Charlotte have made no secret of their desire to give Ruby a little brother or sister,” added the pal. “And they haven’t denied the rumours. All they’ll say is that it’s their business!

“Gav has told his pals that they’re keen for Charlotte to be pregnant again, as he’d love their kids to be really close in age, like him and his sister Sarah, who’s a year younger.”

A daily exercise regime and a healthy eating plan saw Charlotte lose most of the 4st she gained while pregnant with baby Ruby, now eight months, last year.

But now she’s doing less exercise and looks like she’s put on a little weight again – the pregnancy rumours were first sparked a few weeks ago when she was pictured wearing an unflattering baggy sundress.

Pals at first feared Charlotte’s weight gain was due to comfort eating as her stepbrother Andrew Church, 22, is being investigated over an alleged rape. But now they think her curvier figure may be the result of much happier news.

Former party girl Charlotte has also been keeping a low profile lately – she hasn’t been for a night out with her girlfriends since March.

“Gav’s going away on a lads’ weekend soon,” said her pal. “So Charlotte’s asked her friends over for a girlie night in with a DVD. They were surprised because, while Charl hasn’t gone out loads since Ruby was born, she still loves a night out with the girls.”

And Gavin, 26, could soon have his own surprise for Charlotte – he was spotted out jewellery shopping with her grandmother.

“Gavin asked Charl’s nan to help him choose an engagement ring,” explained her pal.

“She loves her gran’s jewellery, so Gav knows she’s the best person to help him find the perfect ring.”
