How Civilised - Or Not!

I had a cheeky little day off yesterday to rest and recover after a busy weekend. I went down to Cowdray for the Gold Cup Polo.

The polo is mainly sponsored by champers company Veuve Cliquot but I was down there in the party tent – the trendy Chloe nightclub! It was an immense all-day drinking fest I must admit... it started at 1pm and I didn't get back to my pal's cottage in Liphook where we were all staying until 1am!

Myself, Sam P aka the Queen and the lovely Chloe managed to go star spotting for the afternoon and drag some of the names back to the party tent. We bumped into Kate Moss's make-up artist buddy Charlotte Tilbury and her actor husband. Jenni Falconer from GMTV looked more than slightly tipsy and Penny Lancaster.

But we managed to hang out with the two wildest celebs out there right now. Ray Winstone's daughter Jamie and the lovely model Olivia Inge. Olivia had been drinking all day and by the time we saw her she was well, er, oiled!

It's always hilarious when you see Olivia out and about – she never fails to amuse. Although she's well known for mixing in the A-list social circuit she always ends up getting out of it and putting on a hilarious cockney accent. She's definitely one of my favourite party people of the last few years. Such fun.

Jamie was on equally good form and we spent a good part of the night running out for ciggie breaks – you can't even smoke in a polo tent nowadays!

Next weekend is the best polo event of the season – it's the Cartier polo in Windsor. Last year I hung out with everyone including Prince Harry, Caprice, Tina Hobley and Duncan James. Let's hope it's just as fun!

Secondly, do you think there's any chance of South West Trains getting me in on time to work more than twice a week. First day back today and running late because of something or other... these trains are the worst things in my life. Grrrrrrrrrr!
