Mr Showbiz rocks the MTV red carpet!

I'm in Los Angeles again and I've just got back from doing the red carpet
at the MTV Movie Awards 2008. And all I can say is they brought the
A-Listers in for the show!
It was jam packed with pretty much every great name in showbiz! Tom Cruise turned out to present Adam Sandler with the MTV Generation Award.
Tom was with wife Katie Holmes, but minus Suri, and the pair didn't pose up
for the cameras. They slipped in and out without being papped and avoided
the red carpet at the beginning.
Johnny Depp was the big star that surprised the crowds - he wasn't on the list but turned up looking hotter and
younger than ever before to pick up Best Comedic Performance for Pirates 3 and Best Villain for his role in Sweeney Todd.
The highlight for me was Coldplay's performance of new tune Viva La Vida and the return of an American Institution: Wayne's World was back!!!!
Mike Myers hosted the event and packed the awards with hilarious sketches
including Wayne's World - he even got Garth back too! Dana Carvey joined
him in two sketches for the millions of viewers all over the world.
Another surprise guest was Sarah Jessica Parker who looked
thrilled to be asked what it feels like to have outdone Indiana Jones 4 at
the US Box Office this weekend.
Sex and the City is well on it's way to taking $80 million in the box office in just a matter of days! I guess we
can take it that a sequel will happen then!!!
The chick flick did lose out though to Iron Man in the Category of Best
Film Of The Summer So Far (ridiculous title or what?). Robert Downey Jr
picked up the award for the film. He has crazy eyes!
Transformers picked up the top award for Best Movie and Megan Fox , who
looks incredible in real life, was there to pick up the award.
I spied Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens backstage holding hands and chatting
to Adam Sandler before they left. They look like a great couple.
Rumer Willis looked more feminine than usual and was totally skinny in real
life... in fact she looks so much like Demi Moore in the flesh!
One star did manage to botch her wardrobe though: Lindsay Lohan. The starlet - who's admittedly more famous for just coming out being in a relationship with Samanatha Ronson than she is for her flicks right now-wore a teeny
tiny short purple dress and it blew up as she arrived revealing her Spanx underwear.
All the Lohan bulge was held in big time! She's far prettier in real life though.
Ellen Page took the Best Female Performance gong while Will Smith walked
away with Best Male.
All in all it was another great awards show and it was a pleasure to be there. I just wish a few more of the stars had stopped to talk on the red carpet.
Due to the fire at Universal Studios which is still raging the stars were all late on the carpet and the likes of Charlize Theron, Jennifer Hudson , P. Diddy, Will Ferrell, Jack Black and Anne Hathaway didn't stop! Boo!
