Amy Winehouse remains in hospital after collapsing on Monday afternoon, and her family is determined for her to stay under medical supervision for as long as it takes to wean her off drugs for good.

The singer has been suffering from an irregular heartbeat since her latest collapse and relatives hope this might be the wake up call she needs to finally sort herself out.

Amy’s dad Mitch, 57, said yesterday: “Amy is doing fine. She is staying in as long as possible.”
