Cheeky Girl and Lembit split

There is a sense of loss and mourning in the Closer offices this morning as we woke to the sad news that Cheeky Girl Gabriela Irimia has split with fiancée Lembit Opik.
One of the strangest couples the world has ever seen had had been together for two years but according to Gabriela’s mum, the Cheeky Girl ‘started out happy but has felt more and more under pressure’ from Lembit’s insecurities.
Mum Magrit said yesterday: “She doesn’t smile like she used to because of the stress. She wakes every morning with her hands shaking and her eyes red. She isn’t sleeping because she has so many thoughts running through her mind.”
The couple have now not spoken for two weeks and despite Lembit speaking openly for his love of Gabriela this weekend, Magrit insists: “There’s a huge gap between them. He doesn’t want to be his wife or have a baby. She’s not ready to settle down.”
