Heath Ledger's last premiere

Last night saw the world premiere of Heath Ledger’s final film, The Dark Knight. Family, friends and fans showed up to honour the late actors work in New York and even the carpet was black, instead of the usual red, to show respect. And for once all the critics seemed in agreement that Heath Ledger is deserving of a posthumous Oscar for Best Supporting Actor. 

The buzz surrounding this film has been immense, for obvious reasons but also because of the cult following Batman has. Early reviews suggest that Heath’s performance as The Joker is both terrifying and mesmerising, overshadowing his co-stars in every scene.

Oh how we wish Heath was still here to enjoy the praise.
