Peaches surprise wedding

You know what it’s like: you’re on holiday with your boyfriend of four weeks, you get drunk and, seeing as you’re in Vegas, you get hitched. Doesn’t sound like something that would happen to you? Well, it certainly did to young Miss Geldof – or should we say the new Mrs Max Drummey?

Yep, 19 year-old Peaches got married to her latest indie beau whilst holidaying in the gambling capital. And although she is always quick to deny comparisons of her and her late mother Paula Yates, the attention-loving teen chose to tie the knot in a chapel next door to the chapel where her parents got wed.

Don’t think this is just a publicity stunt either; the marriage has been confirmed by the Geldofs. Peaches released a statement about her “very happy marriage” last night and Dad Bob, who was only informed about the wedding shortly before the event, told The Sun: “I am aware of the statement that has been released and agree with its sentiments.”
