Katy's mum hates her song

Katy Perry’s catchy tune I Kissed A Girl might be topping the charts but it doesn’t seem to be going down too well with her strongly religious parents.

The saucy singer has upset her folks with her raunchy video in which she cavorts with a group of female models and the lyrics about some girl-on-girl action.

Katy’s mum raged: “I can’t even listen to that song. When it comes on the radio I bow my head and pray. I hate the song.

“Katy is our daughter and we love her but we strongly disagree with what she is doing and the message she is promoting regarding homosexuality which the bible clearly states is a sin.”

She also added: “I pray that God will work through her and help her find salvation.” With views like that, Closer thinks it’s someone else who needs salvation (or their head checked).
