Jade Goody

Jade has cancer

Jade Goody was told that she has cervical cancer last night, whilst in the Indian Big Brother house.

The mum of two was called in to the Diary Room and spoke to her consultant here in the UK who told her the news. Jade burst into tears and rushed back to her housemates to tell them “I’ve got cancer”.

The BB star was then withdrawn from the program and flown back home to begin treatment immediately. This diagnosis follows a series of illnesses and most recently Jade was rushed to hospital after collapsing and losing a lot of blood.

A friend revealed that Jade is understandably “completely devastated”.

We all know that Jade has had a tough year, but now is the toughest time of her life. I hope that people respect her and leave her alone, as she now needs time to recieve treatment, and be around people love and care for her.

I think it's awful the way she feels the need to publicise everything in her private life. However I hope her all the best and a speedy recovery

although im not a fan of hers after the incident with shilpa in BB, this is such sad news. wishing u all the best jade. Hope u make a speedy recovery, try and stay strong for the sake of your 2 children. xxx

jade, keep your head up. i went through the same 22 years ago and am still here to tell the tale, and medicine has moved on a lot since then. All the best for a speedy recovery.

i` lad that the finally found whats been up wit u the past few months, now they can start treating u straight away. i really hope the best for u, ur stronger than u know it my thoughts will b with u all the way hope u make a speedy recovery. o to that remark R.I.P ur sad for sending that , that just sick.what has she ever done to u nothing.hmmm sicko!!!!!!!!!!!

My aunt has just been diagnosed with cancer and my heart goes out to Jade and her family. They are finding new advances in treatment everyday and i'm sure she will be well looked after. Good luck Jade, keep strong!!

I think Jade has more to worry about than making sure she gets media coverage with regards to her illness! love her or hate her she doesn't deserve this my heart goes out to her ,get well soon jade.. valley girl your a disgrace R.I.P? you should be ashamed lets hope that comment does't come back to haunt you.

lots of people r sayin this is a publicity stunt & that she actually has pre cancerous cells - NOT cancer - u have 2 question why they wud discharge her & let her go 2 india if they had the slightest suspicion of sumthin more sinister - not many people who hav cancer want it 'announcing' on tv - generally it is a very private battle - wiv family & friends 2 support - how cud she allow her family & friends 2 find out this way - these r comments i hav read & which i totally agree wiv -

queen b - i suggest u get ur fucking facts right and read the names of people who comment!!! i was NOT the one who said R.I.P, i was disgusted by that comment - and i clearly said 'R.I.P??? she's not dead!!!!!'
