Angelina's dad defends her from scathing attack

Angelina Jolie’s dad has stepped in to defend his daughter after comedian Roseanne Barr labelled the actress and hubby Brad Pitt ‘vacuous’.
Roseanne had criticised Angelina’s political loyalties in her blog last week, writing: “Miss Jolie says she likes [John] McCain too and hasn't decided who to endorse....huh?
"Aren't you supposed to be somewhat enlightened, or do you not know that the African daughter you hold in every picture had parents who suffered and died because of the Republican party's worldwide economic assault on Africa over the last few decades since Reagan?"
She went on to poke fun at the charity work the A-list couple do, noting the couple earn “forty million dollars a year in violent psychopathic movies and give away three of it to starving children.”
Ange’s dad, John Voight responded saying: "We can never be surprised at what vile evil comes from the mouth of a confessed victim of child abuse at the hands of her own parents.
"[Roseanne's] parents responded to the accusation by going on the air and slating she is a psychopathic liar and her sister agreed.
"Her defaming of our National Anthem in 1990 gave us insight into who she is and what she is capable of saying and doing.
"I can only pray that good people see her for what she is (sick of mind)."
