Britney to star in reality TV show?

Just when Britney Spears looked to be getting her life back on track we hear she's lined up to star in her own tell-all real life show for MTV.

The singer has shocked her fans over the last year or so with her crazy antics, including shaving her head, attacking a car with an umbrella, lesbian romps, trips to rehab and the dramatic police standoff at her home. Now though, MTV wants to get up close and personal with Britney and film her hectic life as she battles to get her career and family back on track.

Friends fear that this could just be a case of 'car crash TV' and her parents are reportedly fuming at the plans. A source said: "Britney's dad is furious. He thinks it's a big mistake and doesn't want anything to do with it. But Britney thinks it will help her custody battle for her two sons."

There is even talk that Britney is using this show to hit back at her mum who has written a book about Britney. The singer is said to want to tell her own side of the story before her mum sticks her oar in.
