Strictly Come Dancing star Karen Hardy, 37, tells us what’s in her fridge
Where do you shop?
At Tesco. I spend around £200 on a weekly shop for me, my husband and my son Callum, who’s three.
What’s your typical daily diet?
I have cereal for breakfast, and for lunch I’ll have a tuna sandwich on brown bread. For dinner, I love a barbeque – we chuck on fish, steaks or burgers. For a treat, we’d have fruit with cream.
Do you ever diet?
I tend to follow a low-carb diet, so I’ll eat Bolognese sauce with broccoli instead of pasta.
What’s the most unusual ingredient in your fridge?
Caviar! I discovered it when I did some work out in Russia.
What’s your favourite comfort food?
Chocolate. I rarely indulge, but I do love it.
What’s your favourite drink?
I love a glass of champagne if I go out. During the day, I’m a manic herbal tea drinker.

Nutritionist Barbara Wilson says:
“An occasional square of chocolate and the odd glass of champagne seem to be Karen’s only vices – and given how fit she is, there’s room for the calories they provide. Her diet of fish, brown bread, fruit, lean meat and veg is well-balanced and beneficial to her health and well-being. All in all, it’s the healthiest fridge I’ve ever seen!”
