In case you missed it, Jade Goody made her first TV appearance since her cancer diagnosis this morning on GMTV. A nervous looking Jade talks Fiona Philips through the traumatic few weeks leading up to her diagnosis on Indian BB. Jade fervently denies any claims that he knew she had cancer before appearing on the TV show
Unfortunately for Jade the bad news just keeps coming. After coming off air she found out that her ex boyfriend and source of support through this ordeal, Jack Tweed, has been sentenced to 18 months in prison for assaulting a teenager. Jack denied the attack but will serve nine months in jail before being released on licence.
The judge said of the attack: "It was a frightening scene and a traumatic experience. You went, it seems to me, with one purpose – to attack and to have a fight. Hitting someone about the head with a weapon is an extremely dangerous thing to do."
Poor Jade, we hope she has some good new soon!
