Kerry: 'I'm an alcoholic'

Kerry Katona has finally admitted that she has a drinking problem, after speculation went into overdrive following her shambolic appearance on This Morning a few weeks ago.
The 27-year-old told a Sunday newspaper: “Four years ago I was diagnosed as an alcoholic after a stay in The Priory clinic.
“This is not common knowledge as I’ve never admitted it before. But this is a battle I will face for the rest of my life. I never promise myself or my family that I can beat this addiction but I’ll try bloody hard.”
Kerry had to face an enormous backlash following her interview on live TV, throughout which she slurred her words and looked out of it. In the aftermath of her shocking appearance, the mum-of-four denied she had a drinking problem and blamed the medication she takes to control her bi-polar disorder for her disoriented mumbling.
Former agent and publicist Max Clifford commented on Kerry's confession, saying that the reality TV star had tried to '"hide it for some time now."
He said: “I have known that Kerry had this problem for a long time and the fact that she has now come out and admitted it is a step in the right direction.
“Hopefully she will get the help, support and the treatment that she needs so she can pull herself back from the brink of disaster.”

No surprize there then!!
Everyone knew it was drink or drugs,but as always it was blamed on her medication!
If Max Clifford knew,then why as he always strongley denied it? Yeh it is Kerrys buisness but to defend her and make out the public was agenst her was wrong,he shouldn't have made any comment if he knew the truth,obviously a case of trying to keep her in the spotlight,and keeping his bank balance up!
And as for that money grabbing,manipultive pig of a husband of hers,he's been shouting his mouth of to anyone who said it was drink or drugs,and he knew all along!
What a liar,and as to say 'HE' was suing GMTV for making Kerry look bad,what a arsehole!
He's known all along then that she has a problem with booze,so why the hell as he been mouthing off!!!
He should have just kept his mouth shut,this as just shown him up for what he is.......A dickhead!
If she was pissed up that morning on GMTV he obviously knew this,yet still let her go on and make a fool of herself,but then,he's not botherd his he? he just saw the pound signs in his eyes as always and had probably seen a new bike or car he fancies to ad to the loads Kerry's allready brought him!
If Max or Mark really cared about her they should of got her in somewere for treatment before now,instead of making her look like a fool,and have her lying to her fans!

Well i hope Kerry gets the help she needs and loses the money grabbing gits for good!

I can understand after a upbringing like Kerry's she would turn to drugs and drink but why on earth can't she deal with her problems privately and with dignity for the sake of her children. Her greatest addiction is her love of drama and chaos !!

Erm, it wasn't common knowledge? To who? Everyone knew full well she was a raving alcoholic druggie! That girl is an adult and she should know better than to constantly air her dirty laundry in public. For the sake of her kids if nothing else. She'll be hoping everyone feels sorry for her now, then she can do a load of interviews and get paid for them!
Her and that lowlife chav of a husband of hers should just do us all a favour and shut their daft mouths! They're both as bad as each other!

Instead of admitting to being an alcoholic to everyone's surprise ha ha NOT!!! I think she should have the bottle to apologize to Fern and Phillip of this Morning. She had all the views saying leave her alone and making out she was being picked on. Accoding to her it was the medication she was taking. When all along she was pissed no shock there then!!. The ordasidy of this women is endless. Its all about her and her problems just think of your children and the psychological damage being done to then for god sack!!!
You make me sick and i'm up to the back teeth of seeing and hearing about her!!!
Call your self a mother don't make me laugh!!!
