Hollyoaks star Zoë, 26, tells us what’s in her fridge
Where do you shop for food?
Tesco because there are loads near where I live.
How much do you spend on food shopping?
About £50 a week.
What is your typical daily diet?
For breakfast, I have muesli and Bran Flakes with fruit and skimmed milk, or toasted rye bread with Marmite. For lunch, I’ll have salad or houmous, pitta and veg, and for dinner it’s often a stir-fry with prawns. If I’m hungry, I’ll have salt and vinegar rice cakes with Marmite. And I’m a sucker for desserts like cheesecake.
Do you ever diet?
Not really – I watch what I eat and I run. But I do have naughty days!
What’s your “can’t live without” ingredient?
I’m a fiend for Marmite – I grew up on it!
What would you cook to impress a man?
My cooking wouldn’t really impress, so I’d take him out. Or I’d do Mexican food, like fajitas, so really he’d end up making it himself.
What’s your favourite drink?
I drink loads of water because I’m always thirsty, and I have a cup of tea in the morning. When I’m out, I drink vodka and diet cola.
Nutritionist Barbara Wilson says:
“Zoë follows a sensible philosophy – eating a healthy diet and doing regular exercise so she can have treats. However, she does eat a lot of Marmite! It’s packed with B vitamins, vital for the release of energy, but it’s also very high in salt – which could explain why Zoë’s often thirsty. She should take it easy on the Marmite and keep drinking lots of water.”
Fridge Rating: 7/10
