Kerry Katona

Is this the end for Kerry's TV career?

Wednesday 19 November 2008

As if things weren’t already bad enough for Kerry Katona, insiders at MTV have just revealed that her 'fly on the wall' TV show has been axed.

The decision was made amidst growing concerns for Kerry’s health.

Kerry had hoped to go to Nashville to inject life into her singing career as part of her longstanding reality TV series, which has previously documented her giving birth and having plastic surgery.

Instead, a source said that the show is currently on hold: “Kerry is in no fit state to make the show.  We will have to wait and see how she fares in the immediate future. We want to see if she can start taking care of herself.”

Kerry’s recent spate of problems followed her appearance on This Morning last month.  She was accused of being drunk after slurring her words and seeming disorientated on the programme.

Kerry is pretty down on luck at the moment.  We really hope that this setback will kick-start her into making some positive changes in her life.

What do you think? Should Kerry be given another chance or have you seen enough of her?

I used to feel really sorry for her and would think ' leave her alone'. Not now.
Over publicised, too much info, bad behaviour.
Showing herself on her reality show, swearing, drinking and smoking whilst pregnant and being really common turned me against her. She blabs about everything then whinges that she is always in the media, errr hello, you gave the interview and got paid. I cringe when i watch her now and find it unrealistic when watching her doing her, caring, wholesome, NORMAL Mum in the Iceland ads. Her fear is that she turns into her Mother, well she has already.

Yeh i agree,i to used to feel sorry for her but im sorry,no one forced her to drink and take drugs, and act like a complete gobby cow!
She blames her behaviour on her up bringing, yes her mum was an horrible evil woman, but doe's that mean she had to follow suit?
Her MTV show is just so embarrising it simply revolves around her shouting her mouth off,and falling out with that twat of a husband of hers!
Kerry might have had a horrible up bringing but she could of choose to leave all that behind!
She isn't in no fit state to make that show, she needs to get herself sorted and start being a good mum, instead of prancing round like she's someone special, cos she aint!!!
You can take the girl out of Warrington.........

Don't know why they'd do a show with her about re-launching her 'singing' career anyway. She's the first to admit she can't sing a note. It doesn't seem to matter how embarassing it is, or how ridiculous it makes her look, if there's a pay cheque involved, it seems she'll do absolutely anything. Thank God MTV have seen the light. Let's just hope Iceland etc follow suit and realise that all publicity is not good publicity. She isn't doing them any favours at all.

Ok so she's a bit gobby, but really is she any worse than some other folk out there? I think not. Her children seem well cared for, and sorry, but having a figure like hers (even pre surgery) after 4 kids deserves some kind of hats off surely, and the whole Mark thing, yea ok he's a bit of a twat, but come on girls who hasn't dated at least one twat in their life? Cut her some slack people! Also is it more acceptable to live on the other side of the world, playing the role of absent Father, pontificating on how your children should be raised, or is it better to be there for your children through thick and thin warts and all (nobody's perfect).
However that said, she does need some time out from the lime light to gain normality in her life.

RE: Is this the end for Kerry's TV career?

totally agree with the absent parent bit, he is kinda missing the point. And yes her hubby is a knob. I would happily cut her some slack but she won't go away. I was definately on the fence about her but come on, even her perfume launch was gross, she was launching a prefume not a porno. She gets paid to be on a reality show and isn't even clever enough or care enough to act half decent. Then she gets upset when people slate her.
I personally don't marry the 2 sides of her, Iceland good Mum who gives a shit and trashy z-list druggie who gets paid to show herself up. Like i originally said, i used to feel sorry for her but not now. The best she could do is gain some self respect and disappear until she sorts herself out. Lets face it, would you invite her to a party of yours?

I hope so - then her deadbeat husband will have to get a job and support his children - yeah right - like he's gonna stay around when the money runs out. Used to feel a bit sorry for her - I think the divorce from BM really took it's toll on her mental and physical health - creepy Mark came along on the rebound and bled her dry. but that episode on Good Morning was a farce - no it wasn't the medication it was because she was still pissed.

the Iceland adverts are driving me mad, i cringe. We all know she doesn't throw parties like that or socialise like normal. It's a mockery on our intelligence.

RE: Is this the end for Kerry's TV career?

Unfortunately I think she is a prime example of young Britain today!!! How Iceland can allow her to continue to represent their company and promote their products is beyond me!! Iceland get a grip please and sack her until she can prove herself. Lets face it we wouldn't be allowed to admit to taking drugs and being pissed at work and still have a job at then of the day so why is it any different because she is a celeb? Great example to your children Kerry I bet their really proud of Mommy!!!!!!!!
