Amy Winehouse met divorce lawyers yesterday while recovering in hospital after a vicious argument with husband Blake Fielder Civil that ended in a booze and drug binge.
Amy was hospitalised on Sunday morning after collapsing on a night out when she suffered a seizure. The 25-year-old singer asked her dad, Mitch Winehouse, to arrange the meeting for her .
Things haven't been going all that well between the married couple since Blake got imprisoned for GBH and perverting the course of justice last November, and rumours are doing the rounds that both Amy and Blake have been involved with other partners.
Amy was overheard having a furious argument with Blake on the phone on Sunday night before she embarged on the bender that led to the singer being rushed to hospital.
Relations have been strained between Amy and her husband , and sources claim that Blake feels that his father-in-law is 'obstructing' their relationship.
But friends and family of the soul diva have spoken out about Blake's negative influence on Amy on various occasions.
We all love a happy ending, but we guess in this case Amy's better off alone!

Amy argued with her husband and took drugs that led to her admission to hospital. The responsibility for her taking substances is her own, and ultimately it is her own choice however much sympathy we have for this being addiction driven. Most of us will argue with our partners at some time, but this does not justify behavior that causes such distress to those around us. Clearly this relationship has difficulties, but Blake has by all accounts taken some responsibility for his problems and has chosen to have treatment and get well.
Until Amy accepts her problems, takes some responsibility and accepts professional help (likely to be a goal of stopping substance use) then it's unfair for Blake to be vilified as a bad influence who drives Amy to such behavior. She is a hugely fortunate and talented young women who has the potential to be happy. I hope that her hospital admission helps her have some space to start recovering.

I also dont see why everyone keeps blaming Blake for Amy's addiction.
She's a grown woman with a mind of her own.
No one to blame but herself for the way she is.
The only person to help Amy get off drugs is herself!
