A sobbing Britney Spears admitted that she is desperate to find a new boyfriend but that she is too protective of herself to trust people.
In a TV interview, the pop star broke down in tears as she told of her torment after breaking up with Kevin Federline: "I felt so alone. I didn't want to think about it."
The singer poured her heart out in the most anticipated documentary of the year, Britney: For The Record, which screened on Sky1 last night. "It's bad. I'm sad.", she cried.
Brit explained: "I let bad people in my life because I was lonely and I really paid the consequences for that big time."
The 27-year-old confessed that she dreams of liing on an island with sons Sean Preston and Jayden James and the man of her dreams.
