Big Brother 7 star Imogen, 25, tells us what’s in her fridge
Where do you shop?
At the Tesco near my flat in Cardiff. I buy fresh food every day and spend about £40 a week, unless I’m also cooking for my boyfriend, Matt [Collins, Swansea City footballer, 22].
What’s your typical daily diet?
Toast and jam for breakfast, with green tea. Lunch is fish fingers and potato waffles or, if I’m being healthy, vegetable soup and rice cakes. Dinner is chilli or baked salmon and veg.
And your top diet tip?
If you exercise, you can eat what you want! I also think green tea is really cleansing and filling.
What’s the heaviest/lightest you’ve ever been?
I’m 5ft 6 and aged 16 I hit 10st 8lbs. Then I took up kick-boxing at 20 and went down to 7st – I got a bit obsessed! I’m now 9st 4lbs.
What’s your favourite comfort food?
A really hearty, warming pudding like chocolate sponge and custard.
What can’t you live without?
Sweet chilli sauce. I put it on everything!
Which three foods would you take to a desert island?
Crisps, a roast chicken and bread – even if it’s just cheap, sliced white. I love it!
Nutritionist Barbara Wilson says:
“Imogen makes the common mistake of thinking exercise makes healthy eating unnecessary. True, it’ll increase bone density, give the heart and lungs a workout and keep you trim, but while Imogen’s toast and waffles habit isn’t harming her right now, her lack of fruit and veg, dairy and wholegrain carbs won’t help her health long-term.”
Fridge rating: 5/10
