Do you know your health basics?

Obesity levels are on the up, despite Government attempts to make us Brits healthier.
A new report showed that obesity figures in men and women have almost doubled in the last 14 years. Worryingly, the report from the NHS Information Centre suggested that lots of us are uncertain about how to live a healthy lifestyle.
People are confused as to how much regular exercise they need, how many alcoholic units they can drink and how much fruit and veg they should eat.
Tory health spokesman Andrew Lansley said: “We urgently need action now to tackle Britain’s ticking obesity timebomb.”
In case you need reminding, Closer has summarised some healthy living essentials below:
Exercise:
A minimum of 3 x 20 min sessions per week
Alcoholic Units:
A maximum of 2-3 units of alcohol daily (or 14 per week) for women.
Fruit & Veg:
At least 5 portions of fruit and veg daily.
